Designed for a shopper who lives between Seattle and Ketchikan, Alaska, Prentiss + Stability + Wickline created Tongass Ledge perched atop a rocky cliff overlooking a channel of water referred to as Tongass Narrows. The house includes two angled volumes designed to look out over the Alaskan shore.
Two framed glass extensions jut out from the constructions permitting 180-degree views of surrounding surroundings. Between the 2 constructions, a connecting area homes an entryway and an out of doors deck, together with a pathway that joins the general public with the personal areas.
The architects have been restricted as to what they might do on the property on account of huge modifications that had beforehand taken place. An current concrete retaining wall and driveway lowered the world wherein the home might be constructed.
