Soccer membership Actual Madrid has performed its first sport within the remodelled Santiago Bernabéu stadium, which is nearing completion following a revamp by structure studios L35, Ribas & Ribas and GMP Architecten.

A video launched by the membership forward of the primary match within the renovated stadium confirmed the construction with its new wrap-around facade largely full and its retractable roof in place.

Actual Madrid returned to the stadium to play fellow Spanish workforce Getafe on 2 September within the membership’s first sport for the reason that renovation started. The retractable roof was closed for the sport.

Alongside the addition of a retractable roof and a metal facade, the renovation has seen the addition of a terrace surrounding the stadium on high of the stands and a brand new pitch elimination and storage system.
