CHICAGO —The Main Taylor Path honors a legendary bicycle owner who blazed a path for others to observe. Biking fanatics in Chicago are working to maintain his legacy alive with engagement and group improvement.
On the flip of the 20th Century, Taylor was the quickest bicycle owner on the planet. He was the primary Black biking world champion.
“It’s an actual disgrace for America that we didn’t admire Main Taylor in his time,” Peter Taylor, president of the Pals of the Main Taylor Path mentioned. “He might have most likely been a lot extra and he was an actual good athlete, a tricky man, and he was extremely principled.”
