Within the double-height lounge, a blackened metal wall gives a dramatic but minimalist focus, full with a three-sided fire and seating ledge.

It took a village to design and engineer the floating concrete staircase set in opposition to a glass wall.

The kitchen cupboards are made in white oak with a black-stained oak wall disguising home equipment to at least one facet. In lieu of higher cupboards, massive home windows body forest views.
