View from the Waimea Falls Park & Botanical Gardens

I simply bought again from a trip on Oahu with household. We spent the week on the seashores on  the North Shore, mountaineering up wild hills, consuming from meals vans, taking part in video games and decompressing. We even tried browsing for the primary time.  It was a really mellow journey and nice to reconnect with nature and spend some high quality time with those that I really like. Beneath, some snaps from our walks by the Waimea Falls Park & Botanical Gardens and an extended hike we took.


I’m a *very* gradual hiker, and whereas I hike I get pleasure from making frequent stops to take photos, and go “foraging” for colours, shapes and patterns that encourage my design work. (You may be taught extra about my ‘foraging’ apply in my ‘Jungalow: Enhance Wild’ e-book 🙂


On this hike, I collected some fallen foliage and issues. Once I bought again to the lodge, I created a number of collages that spotlight the completely different colours, patterns, shapes and textures. The polka-dotted leaves are my favourite! They’re spores on the leaves, that are reproductive buildings (type of like seeds).



In fact, I needed to #facethefoliage whereas I used to be at it…
