Home within the Woods is a minimalist house situated in Tarragona, Spain, designed by andrea + joan arquitectes. The intention of the restoration was to reforge a connection between the unique construction and the encircling panorama, a function intrinsic to the realm’s cultural heritage. The home, characterised by an oblong flooring plan spanning two ranges, included an hooked up shed in poor situation, initially used for agricultural functions. The bottom flooring was constructed utilizing stone masonry, that includes picket beams and ceramic vaults, whereas the higher flooring was constructed with ceramic partitions and pilasters supporting a gabled roof of picket beams and ceramic tiles. Adopting a concentric method, the renovation centered on the present wall construction. The purposeful elements of the home, such because the kitchen, couch, and stairs, have been organized alongside these partitions, making a central house.
