CHICAGO — Chicago police mentioned a 9-year-old was in a position to escape after a person tried to kidnap her close to a West Ridge grocery retailer.
The lady was strolling with a lady close to the Cermak Recent Market on the 6600 block of North Damen Avenue simply earlier than 10 a.m. Wednesday when a person grabbed her and ran away along with her.
The little lady was in a position to get away close to the 6600 block of North Ridge Avenue. The person continued operating away.
The offender was described by police as a Black man about 5 ft 8 inches to five ft 10 inches tall, about 150 to 170 kilos, with quick dreadlocks and glasses. Police mentioned he was sporting a white shirt, grey pants, white gymnasium footwear and a camouflage baseball hat.
The 9-year-old was not injured and Space Three detectives are investigating.
